Bobcat Shuttle routes are operated for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at Texas State University.
The system is in operation during all class days.
Transportation Servcies provides shuttle service to Texas State students, faculty, and staff in San Marcos. Services levels and routes are determined based on demand, student density, and available resources. Local public bus service, (including ADA accessible demand-response service), is provided by the City of San Marcos.
Services are available from perimeter parking on and near campus via Campus Routes and from densely populated areas of San Marcos via Off-Campus Routes.
This system is supported by students, who pay a bus fee at registration each semester. Service is operated on class days and during finals; reduced service is available on Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. Saturday service is not offered during the summer semester or during semester breaks. No service is offered on Sundays, official university holidays, or between semesters when class is not in session.
If you ever have an issue with the performance of any of our route service, please call customer service at 512.245.5555 to report your concern. It is always helpful to have the three digit bus number, (Printed on all sides of the bus exterior); the route number or name; and the time of day when you were riding.
